The ranking produced by US News is one of the longest-running university rankings in the world. For more than 40 years, in fact, the U.S. News magazine has been offering a ranking of American universities, to help families and students choose the best educational path.
Worldwide, U.S. News offers the "Best Global Universities" which evaluates over 1750 higher education institutions in more than 90 countries.
This ranking is carried out in collaboration with the Clarivate agency, which provides statistical data on universities, metrics and the results of reputational surveys (Academic Reputation Survey). In addition, the ranking methodology also includes a bibliometric part whose data are based on the Web of Science and Clarivate Analytics InCites
With the same methodology, the data are also grouped by topic, obtaining the Global University Ranking by Subject
