The T.I.M.E. project at the University of Padova is based on specific cooperation agreements with the following institutions:

Yokohama National University – Japan

 https://www.ynu.ac.jp/english/ - https://www.fse.ynu.ac.jp/english/

T.I.M.E. students can access the T-type Engineering Degree (TED) offered by the Graduate School of Engineering Science. In addition to attending lectures and taking exams, they will be included in a research project under the supervision of a lecturer for the entire duration of the course of study.

Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeria Industrial de Barcelona (ETSEIB) - UPC

www.etseib.upc.edu

It is a School of Industrial Engineering, which is part of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona.
The courses of study at ETSEIB cover the three cycles of university education: the School offers complete courses of study (1st and 2nd cycle), courses of second cycle only, 3rd cycle courses (PhDs, post-graduate courses of various types).
TIME students are required to attend second-cycle courses (or, in some cases, the fourth and fifth years of the "Integrated Master Degrees"). Students in possession of a first-cycle/Bachelor's degree (=BSc) who are enrolled in the first year of the master's degree at the time of application can access the courses.
The final qualifications awarded, depending on the course of study followed, are: "Ingeniero Industrial", "Ingeniero Quimico", "Ingeniero de Materiales", "Ingeniero en Organización Industrial", or one of the titles at the end of the "Masteres Universitarios".

Grandes Écoles

École Centrale de Marseille www.centrale-marseille.fr
École Centrale de Nantes www.ec-nantes.fr
École Centrale Casablanca https://centrale-casablanca.ma/

Écoles have a very different nature from traditional universities. They are dedicated to the training of "generalist" engineers, able to identify and solve complex problems and destined to hold high-level positions and responsibilities within industrial and service companies.
The educational project is based on "integrated multidisciplinarity", which harmoniously brings together basic scientific and technical training, technological training and a concrete approach to the economic, social and human realities of the company.
Training at the Écoles is divided into three years: the common core and the third year of specialization. Students who at the time of application are enrolled in the second year of a first-cycle/Bachelor's degree course or in the first year of a second-cycle/Master's degree course can access the Écoles.

The language of course unit is French: special language courses are offered by the universities to TIME students, and the study of the same is an integral part of the course track.
The Écoles issue the title of "Ingénieur diplômé".

Instituto Superior Técnico - IST

https://tecnico.ulisboa.pt/en/

It is part of the Universidade de Lisboa and is one of the most prestigious Portuguese engineering institutes.
The courses of study offered by IST cover the three cycles of university education: the campus offers complete courses of study (1st and 2nd cycle called "Integrated Master Degrees"), courses of only second cycle (Master Degrees-2nd Cycle), 3rd cycle courses (PhDs, post-graduate courses of various types).
TIME students are required to attend the Master Degrees (2nd Cycle) or, in some cases, the fourth and fifth year of the "Integrated Master Degrees": admission to one of the courses is subject to acceptance by the IST and is determined by the evaluation of the candidate's academic curriculum and its congruence with the proposed degree courses.
Students with a first-cycle/Bachelor's degree (=BSc) who are in the first year of a master's degree at the time of application can access the courses.
The final title issued is the "Maestrado" (equivalent to the second cycle title) and is obtained with the acquisition of 120 ECTS credits (to which must be added a further 60 ECTS to be obtained in Padova).
The languages of course unit are Poroghese or English, depending on the degree course chosen.

Technical University of Denmark - DTU

The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is located in Lyngby, about 10 km north of Copenhagen.
It offers students a wide range of second-level courses of study, taught entirely in English.
The final degree awarded is the "Master of Science in...", and is obtained with the acquisition of 120 ECTS credits.

Each Master's course has a limited number of places and there are entry requirements: candidates are therefore selected on the basis of the course track and documentation submitted directly to the DTU.

Those who have already obtained a three-year degree in Engineering at the University of Padova and who are currently enrolled in the first year of a second-cycle/Master's degree course in Engineering, at the University of Padova, can participate in the selection. They must have obtained, by the deadline of the call, at least 18 university credits (ECTS credits) deriving from passing exams of the second-cycle/Master's degree course.

After the publication of the ranking, and in any case within the deadlines established by the partner university, students who have been awarded will have to complete the online enrolment procedures at the DTU.

  • Academic transcripts (for French students, also Classes Prepa) in original language and English translation
  • Bachelor diploma or Letter of Completion
  • English test results Language test requirements (dtu.dk)

Those who are selected for the DTU are required to complete the first year of the second-cycle/Master's degree course in Padova (60 ECTS) and to complete the entire course track provided by the chosen Master Program through the acquisition of an additional 120 ECTS.
