Psychological health ambassador
As part of the project, the figure of the "pyschological health ambassador" (PHA) has been identified, covered by students identified thanks to a call for proposals: their task is to promote psychological well-being in each School of the University in support of the student community and improve the flows of access to clinical services.
The PHAs focus on different topics, such as pathological addictions, the promotion of physical activity, proper nutrition, the method of study and planning, and aim to provide correct information on the activities of university psychological services, in particular on the type of problem for which access is requested.
Their work is paid and students from the 5 universities involved in the project can participate in the selection, meeting the requirements specified in the selection notice of each university.
The activity is preceded by a training course, developed over several appointments, whose participation is mandatory and constitutes an integral part of the activity. The first round of training that is carried out thanks to the guidance of dedicated professionals hired within the project.
