One, two, three.... Internship! Preparation for the internship
Organized by the Career Guidance Sector of the Career Service, the One, Two, Three... Internship! program aims to prepare students for their internship experience as effectively as possible. It provides essential guidance on key skills to develop and professional behaviors to adopt.
The first step of the program consists of watching a video on the Career Service Mediaspace channel (SSO login required).
The video explores the following topics:
- Behavioral aspects of onboarding, particularly during the first few days;
- Communication within organizational contexts;
- Basic and soft skills to develop for a successful integration;
- The roles of the different stakeholders involved: company tutor, university tutor, and Career Service support.
The second part of the program involves selecting specific modules on the Moodle platform. These modules are designed to increase awareness of the primary soft skills required in the professional world and the dynamics of workplace integration:
- Teamwork;
- Effective communication;
- Problem solving and negotiation;
- Organizational culture and ethics at work;
- Succeeding in the workplace.
Eligibility:
The program is open to students enrolled in a University’s degree courses who plan to undertake a traineeship or internship.
