Observatory on the local labour market
The Observatory on the Local Labour Market of the University of Padova takes care of the systematic acquisition and analysis of information on labour supply and demand; it points out in particular the need for professionalism in the technical and managerial area of the various production sectors of the Veneto region.
It is therefore a tool that the University of Padova makes available to students and graduates to understand the characteristics and trends of the labor market, thus giving them the opportunity to orient themselves in the choices for the desired professional future.
The published research is based on data and information coming directly from companies, collected through meetings and interviews carried out with the human resources sector of a sample of companies. The results make it possible to maintain constant contact with the situation of the labour market in Veneto, verifying the trend of recruitment in the various economic sectors, describing the most sought-after professional profiles and identifying skills, abilities and knowledge to be developed to increase the chances of entering the world of work.
The Observatory's research is published in the notebooks of the PHAROS series, which can be downloaded directly from this site, or requested in free hard copy at the Career Service desk.
