Orientation in the territory

In order to promote collaboration, connection and comparison between the upper secondary education and training system and the University, the University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Regional School Office aimed at encouraging and supporting actions for the orientation of young people, encouraging, in compliance with the three-year plans of the degree courses adopted by schools within the scope of their autonomy, the collaboration between educational institutions and the University, for the implementation of educational and training initiatives aimed at students, as well as training interventions and meeting paths aimed at teachers.

As part of the " Widespread School Guidance Desk" project dedicated to the second and third classes of lower secondary schools and the first classes of upper secondary schools in the province, the University of Padova has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Province of Padova, the Regional School Office – Territorial Area Office of Padova and Rovigo and the municipalities of Camposampiero, Cittadella, Este, Montagnana, Piove di Sacco for the implementation of synergistic actions aimed at increasing the awareness of themselves and of the various higher education institutions present in the province in the subjects involved.

As part of the Alliances for the Family project promoted by the Municipality of Padova, the University participates in the School, Rights, Education Table, which brings together various institutional actors in the area and aims to develop projects and services for guidance understood as continuous accompaniment in making life and educational choices.

The University participated in the work of the Territorial Technical Table for guidance, prevention of early school leaving and the promotion of educational success, established in 2013 with the aim of designing and implementing synergistic actions of orientation and educational continuity also intended for people with greater fragility and disadvantage in compliance with equal opportunities. Within the Territorial Technical Table, a School-University Working Group was formed starting from 2015-2016 which produced a model of integrated Orientation Council for use by lower secondary schools.
