International study programmes
The international degree courses of the University of Padua include various opportunities for students.
Over 600 single courses taught in English.
Courses lasting three to five months or one full academic year at the University’s partner universities with which bilateral agreements have been signed. Exams taken and teaching activities completed abroad may be recognised.
There are also many opportunities to study abroad offered במסגרת the Erasmus+ project.
Degree courses, second-cycle degree courses and single-cycle second-cycle degree courses delivered exclusively in English, at the end of which the University awards the relevant academic qualification.
Degree courses, second-cycle degree courses and international single-cycle second-cycle degree courses in Italian or another language, designed and organised in collaboration with one or more foreign institutions; at the end of the course of study students will obtain a double/multiple degree (double/multiple degree, two or more national degrees awarded by the universities involved) or a joint degree (joint degree, awarded jointly by two or more of the partner institutions).
Among the international study programmes awarding double or joint degrees are the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, उत्कृष्ट second-cycle degree courses offered jointly by at least three universities in three different European countries.
Internship or traineeship and guidance at companies, public bodies and professional practices, which students may undertake during their course of study (curricular traineeship) or within 12 months of obtaining their degree (extracurricular traineeship)

International PhD courses leading to a joint degree and PhDs in English.
As part of the Erasmus Mundus programme, it is also possible to undertake international research PhDs leading to a joint degree with other foreign universities, as well as co-supervised PhDs, following which diplomas (double or joint) recognised in the countries where the activities take place are awarded, together with the mention on the diploma of the Doctor Europaeus title.
Summer and winter schools, high-quality intensive courses delivered in collaboration with national and international academic institutions and/or other international bodies.
Study semester at Venice International University (Viu), a consortium of universities from all over the world that come together on a campus on the island of San Servolo, in Venice, of which the University of Padua is a member. Viu also offers international mobility opportunities for study or thesis work.
