renzo piano

The most famous Italian architect in the world knows how important academics are. Students must immerse themselves in studying how to face and deal with daily real-world situations. It is precisely for this reason that he donated up to 20,000 euros to be distributed over several years to recent engineer graduates involved in the University of Padua affiliated Renzo Piano G124 Project. Renzo Piano made the extraordinary decision to use his allowance as a Senator for life to support recent graduates who will contribute their knowledge and work to develop a regeneration project in the Padua suburbs. Piano emplored awardees to be like drops of oil in the sea and create the kind of contagious tension that pollutes the world with the best practices and standards upheld by the University of Padua.

Renzo Piano's donation is a gesture of trust in our students that offers foresight towards the future.
