The "Milla Baldo Ceolin" nursery is an educational service born as a result of the synergistic collaboration between the University of Padua, the Cariparo Foundation and the SPES body, and responds to the actions envisaged by the University's Gender Equality Plan (2018-2021) in support of parenting and work-life balance.
The nursery, located in via Ognissanti, 72 (map), in the Municipality of Padua, is part of the historic complex formerly the campus of the Istituto degli Esposti, restored for the purposes of this project. It has a capacity of 50 places for girls and boys aged between 3 and 36 months and is divided into the following sections:
- infant section: welcomes girls and boys from 3 months to 12 months, with a maximum capacity of 8 children (including the 20% provided for by Regional Law 32/1990);
- divezzi section: welcomes girls and boys from 13 months to 36 months, with a maximum capacity of 42 places (including the 20% provided for by Regional Law 32/1990).
A total of forty places are reserved for the University of Padua, on the basis of a specific agreement. The University staff who enrol their children in the 'Milla Baldo Ceolin' nursery school enjoy a welcoming environment and quality educational services, in exchange for an advantageous monthly fee.

The nursery can accommodate daughters and sons of PhD students, holders of a research grant or contract covering 1 year, postgraduates, permanent and fixed-term researchers , structured lecturers , technical, administrative and managerial staff, linguistic expert collaborators and agricultural workers.
The staff is assigned to the Milla nursery in compliance with the parameters indicated by regional legislation, taking into account the nature of the service offered, the characteristics of the structure, the age and characteristics of the girls and boys welcomed, as well as the opening times of the service (1 educator for every 6/8 children under the age of 12 months and 1 educator for every 8/10 children over the age of 12 months, including the 20% provided for by Regional Law 32/90).
