National Biodiversity Future Center – NBFC
The National Centre for Biodiversity, "National Biodiversity Future Center", is one of the five national centres dedicated to frontier research involving institutions and businesses throughout Italy; its task is to conserve, restore, monitor and enhance Italian and Mediterranean biodiversity. To manage and develop such a complex collaborative network, the Centre is organised into 6 thematic spokes dedicated to the sea, terrestrial land and wetlands, and cities. These are supported by cross-cutting spokes dedicated to training, communication, knowledge sharing and innovation, with the aim of turning research into value for society.
