Simone Mancin is an Associate Professor of Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer at the Department of Management and Engineering of the University of Padua, Italy. He is also a Visiting Professor at the Dept. of Chemical Engineering of Brunel University London and a member of the Centre for Energy Efficient and Sustainable Technologies of Brunel University London. His research mainly focuses on advanced materials, nano-depositions, nano-coatings, surface treatments, single- and two-phase heat transfer in enhanced surfaces and microgeometries for electronic thermal management, air conditioning and refrigeration, and phase change materials (PCMs) for advanced latent thermal energy storage. He is currently PI of several EU-funded projects within MSCA, Clean Aviation Horizon EU, and Pathfinder programmes. He is the author or co-author of about 250 papers, most of which have been published in international scientific journals. He is Associate Editor of HEDH, Thermal Science and Engineering Process, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science, and Heat Transfer Research, and he is a member of the Editorial Board of International Journal of Thermofluids, Science Talks and Energies.
