Paediatric Research Institute Foundation

Since 2012, the Paediatric Research Institute "City of Hope" (IRP) has been a research centre of excellence in paediatric medicine and research. With 30 research groups and 200 researchers, it works on seven major research programs focused on pediatric oncology, experimental cardiology, regenerative medicine, genetic and rare diseases, immunology, biotechnology and predictive medicine, adopting a multidisciplinary approach that integrates expertise and ideas from biomedicine, bioengineering, biochemistry and materials science.
It also offers dedicated funding opportunities for researchers to develop cutting-edge projects in the paediatric sector.

The IRP also promotes cooperation with national and international university hospitals and research institutes, including  the University of Padova and the Azienda Ospedale - University of Padova, in particular with the Department of Women's and Children's Health, and offers high-level training, fostering innovation, technology transfer and dialogue with the public.
