Experimenting with Mobility: what works best to stimulate internationalisation?

The University of Padua invites colleagues to participate in the International Staff Training Week on the topic of “Experimenting with Mobility: what works best to stimulate internationalisation?”, taking place in Padua from 12 to 14 October 2022.
Join us to discuss opportunities and challenges related to innovative and flexible types of mobility, look into practical applications and outcomes, share experiences and best practices.

Objectives: Innovative and flexible types of mobility in Higher Education are expanding rapidly, and are strongly supported by the European Commission within the new Erasmus+ Programme 2021-2027. Those types of mobility, including short, virtual, blended mobilities, allow for increasing inclusion and extend the reach of international activities to wider target groups. The aim of the event is to bring together International Officers, Academics, and all university staff members engaged with or interested in innovative and flexible mobilities, and share best practices from across the globe. It also aims to support the development of links across Professional Service Units (Global/International Office, Student Affair Office, Career Service and others) and Academic Schools.

Who can participate: Administrative and academic staff members from Higher Education Institutions across the globe. An active engagement of all participants is expected throughout the Training Week (case studies presentations, group work & discussion, etc.). Previous experience in organisation of short/virtual/blended/innovative/flexible mobilities is considered as an asset.
