National Centre for HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing
The Centre carries out research and development activities for innovation in the field of high-performance simulations, computing and data analysis. The activities of the National Supercomputing Centre focus, on the one hand, on maintaining and strengthening the Italian HPC and Big Data infrastructure and, on the other, on developing advanced numerical methods and applications and software tools to integrate computing, simulation, the collection and analysis of data of interest to the research system and to the production and social system, including through cloud-based and distributed approaches.
