State examinations: information
Current legislation stipulates that, in order to practise certain professions, graduates must pass a State examination aimed at obtaining the qualification required for such practice. This examination takes place twice a year, on the dates established by an ordinance of the Ministry of University and Research.
Some examinations have been reformed (D.P.R. 328/2001) and are held in three different formats, depending on the candidate’s qualification. Others, however, continue to be held under a single system, regardless of the qualification.
