Guest Satisfaction Survey

SAOS is a welcome desk which assists incoming international students and scholars (researchers, visiting professors, experts) in organising and completing the most important procedures for their legal stay in Italy:

  • entry and stay in Italy
  • residence permit: first application, renewal and transfer/conversion
  • family reunification
  • public health assistance

Thanks to a special agreement with the Immigration Office of the local Police Station, SAOS provides support during the application process for residence permit.

It also gives general information on public and private services offered by the city and within the University, and keeps in touch with the local Employment Department and the Sportello Unico/UTG Padova, where foreign workers submit all the papers needed for them to settle their working status.

SAOS Desk offers specific support to University Departments willing to host foreign researchers for a working period.

Professors, researchers and staff may request an appointment with SAOS Desk. This service is not available for students and PhD candidates, who can visit SAOS Desk during opening hours.
