A course that focuses on reflection on language in its universalistic aspects: the analysis of linguistic structures is based on the study of synchronic systems and is integrated by diachronic analysis. The range of disciplines covered is wide: from basic courses such as phonetics and phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics to applied courses such as dialectology, historical linguistics and language acquisition, computational linguistics. You will be able, based on your interests, to build ad hoc courses in related areas and acquire skills in disciplines such as neuropsychology, logic and philosophy of language and instrumental knowledge of statistics that will allow you, for example, to work in the field of computer applications to communication. Other areas of employment are course unit, language education and cooperation.
