The University activates local initiatives that are advantageous for Unipd staff, in particular in the health, cultural and banking and credit services sectors.
University employees can access the intranet page of the Trade Union Relations and Welfare Systems Office - Welfare Sector for further information on welfare services.
In addition, thanks to the Studiare a Padova CARD , employees can benefit from various discounts in terms of culture, sport, leisure and shopping.
Supplementary health care for the staff of the University of Padova is a service provided (effective from 1 January 2024) by the Mutual Aid Society - Insieme Salute.

University staff can take advantage of discounts on diagnostic tests, specialist visits, therapies and health programs provided privately. It is possible to take advantage of the agreements by showing the university recognition card.
The University of Padova, which has long been committed to the development of welfare policies in favour of employees, has entered into an agreement with the Polisportiva Arcs Unipd aimed at extending some concessions on the purchase of goods and services reserved for members, to all employees.
The agreement expires on 31/12/2025 and currently extends the following promotions:
- 15% discount on all spa and wellness services offered by the Hotel Sollievo in Montegrotto Terme (PD)
- 8% discount on entrances and massages at the Columbus Thermal Pool in Abano Terme (PD)
- offers at a discounted price from the Zip Viaggi travel agency that will be disseminated from time to time.
To benefit from the advantages described above, it will be sufficient for the employee to show the identification badge.

Further promotions, which will be extended to all staff by virtue of the above-mentioned agreement, will be communicated by email and posted on the intranet site of the Welfare Sector, Economic Treatment and Welfare Office - Welfare Sector.
Unipd staff (PTAs, teachers, CELs, technologists, agricultural workers, doctoral students, research fellows) can apply for a contribution for educational services for sons and daughters who have attended educational facilities from kindergarten (kindergarten) until the fulfilment of compulsory schooling, or until the age of 16, for expenses incurred in the recently ended school year. Contributions for kindergartens have been suspended for the entire validity of the three-year supplementary welfare agreement 2021-2023 still in force.
To be eligible for the contribution, the request must be complete with:
1) valid ISEE declaration (the right is due if the ISEE is not exceeding 30,000 euros).
2) declaration, made within the application in the form of a self-certification, in which it is declared that it has incurred expenses for the use of educational services in the recently ended school year for a value equal to or greater than the amount due, based on the ISEE bracket to which it belongs, for each son or daughter, below:
- Band l (from € 0 to € 12,000): € 450.00;
- Band II (from € 12,001 to € 20,000): € 330.00;
- Band III (from € 20,001 to € 30,000): € 210.00.
The eligible expenses are related to enrolment and school fees, canteen, textbooks, school transport service , educational outings, school insurance, supplementary courses and school workshops.
Requests must be submitted from 1 September to 30 September 2025 by filling out the form available on the intranet website of the Economic Treatment and Welfare Office - Welfare Sector under the heading Benefits.
Requests submitted after the deadline and/or in the absence of documentation are not taken into consideration.
Holders of the University Welfare Account can apply for the contribution for educational services a.s. 2024-2025 only if the receipts of the expenses incurred, subject to the aforementioned self-certification, are of a value equal to or greater than the amount due and have not been reimbursed through the AON platform (University Welfare Account ). The Administration carries out checks with AON reimbursements and may require the presentation of documentation.

The Unipd agreement with the Istituto Zooprofilattico delle Venezie for the "Marameo" nursery school in Legnaro reserves at least seven places for the daughters and sons of employees, doctoral students, research fellows and postgraduates of the University who work or stay in thefacilities of Legnaro or who are resident in this municipality.
Submission of applications from 9 March to 10 April 2026.
Renewals are managed directly by the nursery administration.
The University of Padova provides its staff with a company nursery, the "Milla Baldo Ceolin" nursery, with an innovative educational project and favourable economic conditions to support parenting and work-life balance.
As required by the agreement stipulated between Unipd and Spes, the Milla Ceolin Nursery School reserves 40 of the 50 places available (3 months-3 years) for the daughters and sons of teachers, researchers, researchers, assignees of research grants or scholarships, PhD or specialization students, managers, technical-administrative staff, collaborators and collaborators who are language experts, with a subsidized tuition.
It is possible to pre-enrol only for girls and boys born by the closing date of the process and who have all the information necessary to fill out the application.

Unipd staff, students can take advantage of discounts of up to 30% for the enrolment of their sons and daughters in the CUS Padova summer sports camps.
To guarantee and preserve the quality of the service, weekly places are limited.
Membership
Enrolment in the summer camps requires the membership of the person participating in the summer camp, whose cost is € 15 one-off. The membership includes basic and supplementary insurance, the t-shirt of the Summer Camps, a gadget and a discount voucher for sporting goods. From 6 years of age upwards, a sports medical certificate is required, even if not competitive.

The Fenice Green Energy Park summer camps, atthe campus of vungargine G. Rovetta 28 (Terranegra area in Padova), offer enrolment with a 10% discount on the list price. To take advantage of the promotion, it is necessary to enter the CE code . UNIPD in the enrolment form under Discount Code.
To learn about these centers, you can visit the Open Days on April 11, 2026 and May 9, 2026, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
The activities are suitable for children and teenagers from 6 to 13 years old.
The MUSME summer camps, in the Padua campus in via San Francesco 90, offer a 5% discount on enrolment for sons and daughters of employees, Unipd students.
- Summer camps for children aged 6 to 9 : full week (from 8.30 am to 4 pm, canteen included) > 152 euros instead of 160 euros;
- Summer Camp for children aged 10 to 14: full week (from 8.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., canteen included)> 171 euros instead of 180 euros; full week (from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., canteen included) > 190 euros instead of 200 euros
To take advantage of the promotion, it is necessary to fill out the online enrolment form on the MUSME website, using the @unipd.it e-mail domain as the email address.
Students and employees of the University of Padova can access free of charge or enjoy special discounts for software to be used on their devices.

the University collects, twice a year, requests from employees relating to the purchase of annual public transport passes for the home-work journey in order to facilitate sustainable mobility.
There are two starting dates for annual travel tickets: February and July.
Those interested in purchasing, in a subsidized form through the University, the annual pass with effect from 1 February 2026 must submit an application by 18 December 2025, for public transport companies:
- AVM (formerly ACTV)
- BUSITALIA (urban and extra-urban transport)
- MOM (Brand Mobility)
- TRENITALIA (regional/interregional)
The purchase takes place directly as the University, thus allowing the employee to take advantage of the tariff reduction provided by the public transport companies on the annual pass, i.e. payment of ten months instead of twelve. The cost is then recovered by the University by monthly splitting directly into the employee's payslip:
- for permanent staff through 12 monthly deductions,
- for fixed-term staff, by means of monthly deductions equivalent to the duration of the contract with a minimum duration of 8 months in the period of validity of the travel document requested.
The application must be submitted exclusively electronically on the intranet site that can be reached by following the path: SIT - personal services - useful links to the person - Welfare, under "Transport".
For the annual subscription to the carrier BUSITALIA, the procedure provides at the same time for the issue of the appropriate card with the same validity, while for the AVM and MOM carriers, the interested parties must declare that they are in possession of the relevant card valid for the period of application for the subscription or personally renew it.
Those who apply for the subscription to the carrier BUSITALIA and have obtained the Regional Voucher during this month, can attach the latter in order to obtain a reduction in the cost of the annual subscription from the transport company.

The Regional contribution cannot be combined with other state contributionsor other public administrations, therefore it is not possible to request a refund of the subscription, which has benefited from the Regional voucher, through the Welfare Account, the same subscription is also not refundable by the transport company in the event of cancellation during the period of validity.

As part of the Trenitalia for Business Program, Trenitalia reserves the Welfare PLUS offer for the staff of the University of Padova a 10% discount valid for the purchase of tickets for private trips of beneficiaries with a maximum of 6 companions.
The discount applies to tickets issued to Base, Economy and Super Economy offers on Frecciarossa, Frecciargento and Frecciabianca trains for all purchases made until 31 December 2025.

The University of Padova, for the implementation of its institutional purposes and to enhance the collaborative relationships with the realities of the territory, promotes services for those who study and for university staff. In this context, the University has signed an agreement with Trenitalia for the positioning of self-service train ticket machines within the University's premises.
In particular, the ticket machines are positioned at:
- the Engineering complex, portico adjacent to the bar, via Marzolo 9, Padova;
- Agripolis Campus, Cà Gialla (atrium), viale dell'University 16, Legnaro (Padova)
Self-service ticket machines are enabled to issue national tickets (including arrows), regional tickets and season tickets. They also give information on train schedules. They are always active, but follow the opening and closing days and times of the facilities in which they are located.
This service can be used by students, university staff and the many guests who attend the University's premises.
The university promotes a transport service offered by Serenissima Padova Taxi that provides within and in the surrounding areas of the city of Padova, by taxi or, at the request of people with disabilities, by equipped vehicles.
For students and staff with disabilities at the University of Padova, the fixed cost is € 15.00 each way. Payment is made through a rechargeable VIP Card, which guarantees a free 5% of the amount for each top-up.
For this specific user, from the 2024/25 academic year, by booking the transport service, it will also be possible to agree on the accompaniment and related support operations (e.g. removing/putting on a jacket, extracting and/or putting study material back in the backpack, etc.), with a variable surcharge, based on the duration of the service.

Itabus is an Italian road transport company that offers many daily connections in Italy and which aims to expand abroad.
The voucher is valid only on the Itabus App. Just enter it in the "Do you have a voucher?" section. at the time of payment to get the discount.
- The voucher is valid for single use, cannot be converted into other goods and cannot be transferred

The University has entered into an agreement (valid for all Unipd staff and for students) that allows the use of Bit electric scooters at a discounted rate. This allows 2 free daily unlocks, a 20% discount on the time-based rate (promotion active from Monday to Saturday), a 10% discount on the purchase of all subscriptions with the name "Unbitable".
DOTT Electric Scooters
The University has also entered into an agreement reserved for students, staff and academic staff which provides a 30% discount on the value of the final fee of use of a Dott electric scooter, up to a maximum of 500 rides.
To benefit from the discount, it is necessary to access the dottpartners.com portal and enter your email with the University domain, downloadthe Dott app and register for the service, from the app menu select the item Promotions and "Add Code": Finally, enter the unique discount code received by email.

The marking of bicycles and scooters is a free service, offered by the Municipality of Padova, which consists of punching the owner's tax identification number on the bicycle frame and applying an indelible label with the coat of arms of the Municipality of Padova. In the event of theft and discovery, the police can, through this identification system, trace the owners.
It is possible, if the space on the frame allows it, to also mark scooters by proceeding as indicated for bicycles.
The marking operation is free of charge.
To proceed with the marking, it is necessary:
- Fill in and submit the online form and then go to the marking point with:
- the bicycle or scooter;
- printed copy of the form completed online, signed;
- health card where the Tax identification number is indicated;
- photocopy of the document indicated in the registration form.

Universitari a Teatro is an initiative of the Teatro Stabile del Veneto that allows university students in Veneto to see the shows of the prose season staged in the Goldoni theaters in Venice, the Verdi theaters in Padova and the Del Monaco theaters in Treviso for a symbolic fee of €5.
UAT tickets and subscriptions online can only be purchased online by following the procedure indicated on the theater's website.

Choreographers between the ages of 18 and 45 at the time of enrolment can participate. The winning project will debut in its entirety - and as a preview for Veneto - during the 2027 edition of the "Prospettiva Danza Teatro" Festival.
