Digital Certificates - Blockcerts
The digital certificate certifies the achievement of the degree and is issued to graduates in addition to the parchment. It can remain accessible and verifiable over time and directly, attesting to its authenticity.
The certificate can be downloaded from the Bestr platform, from which graduates have already received some Open Badges.
Being a digital document, it needs an application that can read this format (such as the Blockcerts Wallet application or the Blockcerts Universal Verifier) that interprets it, verifies it and shows it legibly to people, representing it as a sheet with a header and signature.
The information present in the digital degree certificate (objectives of the degree course, duration in years, levels etc) is also enriched by the information of the Open Badge of the qualification (skills, criteria followed for the release of the degree, diploma supplement) also issued upon graduation.
The digital certificate facilitates the work of verifying qualifications for institutions and recruiters, both Italian and foreign.
It also allows graduates to present themselves to the world of work with a set of information that best describes their profile; In addition, thanks to the digital certificate, it is no longer necessary to queue and pay stamps to obtain duplicates of degree certificates.
In the case of continuing their studies in other universities, including foreign ones, by sending their degree by email, they will be able to verify its validity in real time.
