Buddy Project – International Students
The Tutor Buddy - International Students is a student enrolled in a Second-cycle/Master's degree course or single-cycle master's degree course at the University of Padova who, after adequate training, is appointed to follow a group of international students who choose to study in Padova for an entire course of study.
The Tutor Buddy works in collaboration with the Student Services Office and the Global Engagement Office and is a fundamental support resource that supports international students in the various administrative procedures, answers their doubts, accompanies them to the city offices in case of need, and at the same time helps them to integrate into university life in Padua.
The Tutor Buddy for refugee students carries out the same activities as the Tutor Buddy but specifically supports international students who are refugees or students at risk who have benefited from one of the scholarship opportunities made available by the University.
The Coordination Tutor , on the other hand, is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities of the Tutor Buddies, conveying the information received from the Global Engagement Office and supporting the office in the procedures for assigning international students to their respective tutors.
