How to start a spin-off
Before submitting your request to start the process of incorporation or recognition of a spin-off, we recommend that you consult our Spin-off Playbook. Inside, you will find an overview of the main issues related to the entrepreneurial path, together with all the information on the steps to follow for the start of a university spin-off, as described in the University Spin-off Regulations.
To submit the request, it is necessary to contact the University's Spin-off Sector (spinoff@unipd.it) which will manage the meeting to present the business initiative you intend to propose and will support the process of setting up or recognition the new spin-off.
The elaboration of the business plan and the formulation of objectives consistent with the criteria of economic sustainability will be guided and supported by the Start Cube university business incubator.
Spin-off Playbook was born from the experience gained in order to indicate the steps to be followed for the establishment of a university spin-off; It also contains an overview of key questions and issues that often arise in the entrepreneurial journey.
