Founded in 1222, we are one of the oldest universities in the world, with a history that is intertwined with that of many illustrious figures such as Galileo Galilei, Copernicus and William Harvey; Ours is the first university botanical garden in the world, the first woman in history graduated here.
And even today we are protagonists in the world of research, and at the highest levels in international rankings also for the quality of teaching and services.
