Agritech - National Research Centre for Agricultural Technologies
The project is focused on the use of enabling technologies for the sustainable development of agri-food production, with the aim of promoting adaptation to climate change, the development of marginal areas, and the resilience and multifunctionality of agricultural, forestry and livestock systems, as well as the safety, quality, traceability and distinctiveness of agri-food supply chains, while at the same time aiming to reduce the environmental impact of intensive production activities, especially in areas with a strong territorial vocation. The partnership brings together the best scientific expertise to make Italian agriculture more competitive, resilient and sustainable, involving 28 universities, 5 research centres and 18 companies.
