Age-It – Ageing well in an ageing society

Age-It represents the first integrated and interdisciplinary effort at the national level that unites excellence in the study of aging, through a triangulation between the forces of the social, biomedical and technological sciences. The mission of the project is to make Italy an international scientific hub on the study of aging, as well as an empirical laboratory for studying the aging of the population, rising to a benchmark for all societies that are aging rapidly. Age-It is a network of universities, research institutions and companies that brings together skills for the development of 10 different areas. A total of 27 entities participate in the Age-it Extended Partnership.
