Age-It – Ageing well in an ageing society
Age-It represents the first integrated and interdisciplinary effort at national level bringing together centres of excellence studying ageing, through a triangulation of the strengths of the social, biomedical and technological sciences. The project’s mission is to make Italy an international scientific hub for the study of ageing, as well as an empirical laboratory for studying population ageing, becoming a benchmark for all societies that are ageing rapidly. Age-It is a network of universities, research bodies and companies that brings together expertise for the development of 10 different areas. The entities participating in the extended partnership Age-It number 27 overall.
