Age-It – Ageing well in an ageing society

Age-It represents the first integrated and interdisciplinary effort at national level, bringing together centres of excellence studying ageing through a triangulation of the strengths of the social, biomedical and technological sciences. The mission of the project is to make Italy an international scientific hub for the study of ageing, as well as an empirical laboratory for studying population ageing, becoming a benchmark for all societies that are ageing rapidly. Age-It is a network of universities, research bodies and businesses that pools expertise for the development of 10 different areas. A total of 27 entities participate in the Extended Partnership Age-it.
