Reception and entrance tests

For information on deadlines and procedures relating to enrolment in degree courses at the University of Padova, please read the admission notices.

In the presence of a particularly complex condition, it is suggested to request an interview with the staff of the Inclusion Sector using the appropriate online form for the appointment request .

Candidates in possession of civil disability certification or the report of Law no. 104/1992 and/or certification diagnosis of SLD can request a personalized entrance test according to Italian laws 17/1999 and 170/2010.

SEN - Special Educational Needs certifications, such as ADHD, if they do not indicate the presence of SLD, do not allow the request for support, as they are not recognized by the current legislation relating to the university course.

To request a personalized entrance test, it is necessary to submit your certification / diagnosis by following the instructions below.

During activation within the CISIA portal, aids and/or supports that you need to carry out the test must be indicated. 

If the condition has not been reported during the activation of the profile but there is a need for support and/or aids, you can contact the HELP DESK of the CISIA portal by the closing date of registration. 

The required documentation that must be uploaded to the CISIA portal (if not already done previously) in a single file containing all the pages conforming to the original: 

• Civil disability certification (with clear diagnosis)

 or

• Minutes of Law no. 104 of 1992 (with clear diagnosis)

 or

• Certification diagnosis of SLD issued no more than three years ago, if prior to the age of eighteen, or after the age of eighteen, by local public health facilities or by bodies and professionals accredited with the regional health service. Where not already specified, also attach the document proving the accreditation code or number (to be requested from the facility or accredited professional) or the conformity of the diagnosis issued by the relevant bodies.
  It is also possible to submit an expired diagnosis; by 30 September of the academic year relating to the report, however, the updated one must be sent to inclusione.studenti@unipd.it.
  Personalized educational plans (PDP), diagnoses of SLD issued before the last school cycle (upper secondary school) and/or by non-accredited private individuals are not accepted under any circumstances.

 or (for overseas residents) 

• Legalized certification, where required by current international standards, attesting to the state of disability, disability or SLD, issued in the country of residence, accompanied by a translation, sworn or certified by the Italian diplomatic representations conforming to the original text, in Italian or English.
  The Student Services Office – Inclusion Sector, in charge of examining these certifications, ascertains that the foreign documentation attests to a condition of disability, disability or SLD recognized by Italian legislation.

Other useful information:
Any additional time assigned may not exceed 50% more (disability) and 30% more (SLD) than the time scheduled for the test. Durante the test does not allow tools such as dictionaries and/or dictionaries, forms, periodic table of elements, concept maps, computers (other than the one used to carry out the test), tablets, smartphones, smart glasses and other similar tools.

You need to:
1) request the personalized test within the pre-enrolment procedure on Uniweb, specifying the supports and/or aids you need
2) by the closing date of pre-enrolment, send an email to inclusione.studenti@unipd.it attaching the following documentation:

• Civil disability certification (with clear diagnosis)

 or

• Minutes of Law no. 104 of 1992 (with clear diagnosis)

or

The supports and/or aids requested through the CISIA portal are assigned by the University chosen to take the TOLC.
