Matteo Podrecca è Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato in Tenure-Track presso l'Università degli Studi di Padova. In precedenza, è stato Ricercatore presso l'Università degli Studi di Bergamo e Assegnista di Ricerca presso la Libera Università di Bolzano e l'Università degli Studi di Udine. Ha svolto periodi da Visiting Scholar presso la Deakin University (Australia) e la Jönköping University (Svezia). I suoi principali interessi di ricerca riguardano certificazioni e standard e le nuove tecnologie per la gestione delle operations e della supply chain. Ha pubblicato in riviste internazionali, tra cui International Journal of Operations and Production Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Computers in Industry e Journal of Supply Chain Management. Fa parte dei comitati editoriali di Journal of Supply Chain Management, Corporate Social Responsibility & Environmental Management e Business Strategy and the Environment e svolge attività di revisore per diverse riviste, tra cui Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Operations and Production Management e Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management.
