Checks and assessments
The University carries out checks on the truthfulness of the self-certifications submitted by the student (pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 445 of 28 December 2000), through both random and targeted checks, where reasonable doubts arise as to the truthfulness of the documents acquired or the content of the statements made.
Checks may be carried out to verify the truthfulness of the information provided and may be conducted by the Guardia di Finanza, at credit institutions and other financial intermediaries that manage movable assets (Article 11, paragraph 6 of Prime Ministerial Decree no. 159 of 5 December 2013); checks may also be carried out on the truthfulness of the declared family situation and comparisons may be made of income and asset data.
Anyone who submits untruthful declarations is subject to an administrative penalty (Article 10 of Legislative Decree no. 68/2012). Payment of this penalty must be made in compliance with the laws in force.
The student is therefore required to promptly notify the Ufficio Servizi agli studenti of any event that is relevant for the recalculation of tuition fees and the awarding of the scholarship.
