Services

Access to the University telephone network may be requested by:

  1. faculty members, researchers, doctoral students, scholarship holders, research fellows, and personnel engaged in research activities in any capacity. They must be authorized by the head of the structure in which they carry out their activity.
  2. Technical-administrative staff, collaborators in various capacities, and “150 hours” students. They must be authorized by the head of their service or by their manager.
  3. External users authorized for particular needs.

The telephone network is supervised by Area Servizi Informatici e Telematici - ASIT. To obtain activation of a new line, it is necessary to submit a request (authorized by the relevant supervisor) to the helpdesk service of Area Servizi Informatici e Telematici - ASIT, to which reports in the event of a fault on the telephone line must also be sent.

University Helpdesk

 

Mobile telephone network

Area Servizi Informatici e Telematici - ASIT also manages the University's mobile telephone network. The service is governed by an agreement between the operator Vodafone and CONSIP, which the University of Padua has joined. The agreement allows the purchase and activation, for service needs, of Sim card, mobile phones, and Internet Key at favorable conditions.
