
Toner cartridges
Waste generated from consumables used in electronic printing devices (such as laser printers, inkjet and dot-matrix printers, photocopiers, fax machines, and calculators) is regulated by Legislative Decree no. 152/06 and subsequent amendments.
Among the most common types of waste resulting from printing processes are:
- toner and inkjet cartridges;
- toner reservoirs for photocopiers (large bottles);
- ink tanks for plotters;
- ribbon cartridges for dot-matrix printers;
- drum units for photocopiers;
- empty bottles from toner refill kits.
The collection and disposal of printing consumables are carried out according to the procedure outlined below:
