National Centre for the Development of Gene Therapy and RNA Technology Medicines

The Foundation carries out research in areas of strategic importance for the production of therapies or for the design of procedures for human health, integrating the development of therapies with their targeted delivery. Its aim is to create and renew research infrastructures and laboratories, to implement and develop research programmes and activities in order to encourage the establishment and growth of entrepreneurial initiatives with a higher technological content, and to enhance the value of research results in the specified fields.
The Foundation, of which the University of Padua is the proposing institution and lead partner, involves 49 entities including universities, public research bodies, private organisations and companies.
