Objectives:
MAIN
To stimulate reflection on the meaning that the inhabited environment has for each individual, in order to increase awareness of the psychological processes involved in the choice of one's living place and in the process of living according to the principles of Environmental Psychology.
MORE
To provide cognitive and methodological tools to intervene in order to create a home-space in tune with the needs of those who live there.
Target audience: The course is aimed at all professionals who work, at different levels, in the home and wellness sector: designers, builders, real estate agents, psychologists, interior designers, landscape architects.
Training methods: The lectures will include both a theoretical and a more operational part in which participants will be involved in the discussion and reflection of specific cases. Lessons will be complemented by exercises, group and individual work in e-learning mode with the use of free platforms.
Enrolment fee: 1200 € per package (if the purchase is made by a company for 5 employees); 360 € per single participant.

Module 1: HOME AND PSYCHE. Symbolic aspects of living linked to one's inner world.
- Parallelism between the construction of a house and the construction of identity;
- Imaginary space, physical space, mental space;
- Symbolic meaning of the rooms;
- Pathology of walls;
- Healing architectures and pathogenic architectures
Module 2: HOME AND LIVING. The point of view of environmental psychology.
- An evidence-based approach
- The psychological needs of living
- Environmental stressors inside and outside the home
- The domestic space and its effects
- When designing, renovating, or selling a home
