PNRR-Active Guidance in the School-University Transition
As part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Active orientation in the school-university transition", the University organizes orientation courses lasting 15 hours each for secondary school students.
The proposed courses can be an integral part of the 30 hours of orientation activities provided for by the MIM guidelines (Ministerial Decree 328 22/12/22).
The courses aim to allow the student to:
- know the context of higher education and its value in a knowledge society, find out about the different training proposals as opportunities for personal growth and the creation of sustainable and inclusive societies;
- have experience in active, participatory and laboratory disciplinary teaching, oriented by the learning methodology of the scientific method;
- self-assess, verify and consolidate their knowledge to reduce the gap between those possessed and those required for the course of study of interest;
- consolidate reflective and transversal skills for the construction of the educational and professional development project;
- learn about the sectors of work, the possible employment opportunities as well as the sustainable and inclusive future jobs and the link between these and the knowledge and skills acquired.
The courses have a duration of 15 hours, divided into 5 meetings of 3 hours each.
The activities are provided at the participating high schools, mainly during curricular hours.
The activities – for the 2025-2026 school year – begin on 1 October 2025 and can be delivered until 30 June 2026.
The lessons of each course are organized according to a schedule agreed with the requesting school, in the period of delivery provided for each course and indicated in the course catalog.
In any case, it is the school's right to recognize participation in courses for FSL purposes – school-work training courses.
Schools can only join by entering into a specific agreement with the University, drawn up according to the model prepared by the MUR for PNRR courses: if more than one school of the same school is involved, a single agreement can be signed, valid for the entire school year.
The 15-hour courses are made up of different thematic modules.
It is possible to enroll each ministerial field of study code/group of students in an entire course, modules of different courses cannot be combined.
The courses may include one or more transversal modules (with a focus on topics such as: university world functioning, skills assessment, choice process, self-knowledge, awareness of choices, reflections on future goals and prospects, development of specific transversal skills, emotional and psychological aspects related to orientation, world of work and professions), and disciplinary modules which aim to offer students an active, participatory and laboratory disciplinary teaching experience. These modules introduce the different disciplines, highlighting their possible correlation with current issues and of general interest, mentioning non-immediate application contexts or focusing attention on new or little-known professions and employment opportunities.
For the year 2025/2026, the University of Padova offers a catalog of over 90 different courses: each school will be able to enroll its students in the courses of greatest interest until all available places are exhausted.
