Postgraduate offer: the strategic synergy with the UniSMART Foundation renewed
The renewal of the collaboration with UniSMART - Fondazione Università degli Studi di Padova for the promotion and communication activities of all university Master programmes, Advanced Courses, Higher Education and Professional Development courses for the three-year period 2027-2030 has been approved.
The objective is to provide each course with strong individual visibility, while at the same time offering a coordinated and effective overall view of the University’s entire postgraduate offer, through:
- Dedicated platforms: management of the institutional web portal (uel.unipd.it) and creation of specific websites for each individual course;
- Digital materials: design and production of informational brochures in PDF format;
- Direct marketing: sending dedicated newsletters (DEM) to University databases;
- Advertising campaigns: targeted advertising investment on Google ADS (Search and Display) and on the main social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram);
- Active promotion: within the UNISMART business community, with trade and professional associations, and with businesses and institutions in the local area.
These activities are funded as provided for by the University Regulations on postgraduate education:
- with a maximum share of 12.5 percentage points out of the 15 assigned to the University budget from enrolment fees;
- the University continues to manage enrolments, students’ academic careers and the awarding of qualifications directly;
- within the framework of the agreement, Departments may activate further operational agreements with UniSMART for management and support services.
Cybersecurity: the University adopts the Organisational Model for information security and the Response Plan for compliance with the European NIS2 Directive
The University is taking a further step in strengthening its digital defences. In line with Legislative Decree 138/2024 (which transposes the EU NIS2 Directive), two strategic pillars are being established for cyber risk management:
- the “Organisational Model for information security”, which defines roles, responsibilities and processes for managing information security;
- the “Response Plan for information security incidents”, which governs the operational methods for management, communication flows, and escalation and notification procedures to the competent authorities and CSIRT Italia in the event of cybersecurity incidents.
These documents, which form part of the framework of actions envisaged by the University’s planning (Digital Transformation Plan 2024-2026 and PIAO 2026-2028), constitute the first implementing instruments of the University’s information security governance system; the documentary framework will be progressively developed and updated as part of the process of defining an Information Security Management System (ISMS) compliant with ISO/IEC/27001:2022, including through periodic monitoring and review activities.
Supplementary agreement 2026-2028 for CEL staff
The Board of administration has approved the new University Supplementary Collective Agreement concerning the economic treatment of Collaboratori Esperti Linguistici for the three-year period 2026-2028. The agreement, which applies to both permanent and fixed-term staff, overcomes the previous fragmentation resulting from various partial agreements entered into between 2000 and 2016 and comprehensively redesigns the rules governing the career progression and incentive system of the University of Padua’s CEL staff, in line with the national contractual sequence signed on 18 March 2025. The agreement introduces rules that will also apply to future recruits, promoting clearer and more consistent professional development over time.
It distinguishes the supplementary salary treatment into two components: “Acquired experience” and “Productivity”, which replace and absorb the supplementary treatment paid until now. The first is defined in 10 three-year salary bands, while the second will be paid on the basis of the provisions of the new performance evaluation system for CEL staff.
The annual resources available amount to 166,092 euro, equivalent to 222,004 euro including costs borne by the University. Its effectiveness is subject to a favourable opinion from the Board of Auditors.
