University Spin-offs: status renewed for six business ventures
The Academic Senate has expressed a favourable opinion on renewing the status of university Spin-off for six companies established within the University, at the end of the evaluation process provided for by the Spin-off Regulations: Eubiome Srl, Inside Climate Service Srl, MSD Srl, Opigeo Srl, Rozes Srl, ThinkQuantum Srl.
Renewal criteria
For the renewal, the criteria introduced in 2025 were applied, aimed at recognising organisations able to combine economic sustainability, innovation and continuity in collaborations with the University.
The companies were assessed on the basis of:
- economic soundness, measured through the average value of production over the last three years;
- collaborations activated with the University, including research projects, patents, third-party contracts and the funding of scholarships.
International Master programmes
The University's commitment to promoting international and interdisciplinary educational pathways, developed in collaboration with European and non-EU partner universities and institutions, continues.
For the academic year 2026/2027, the following have been approved:
- the activation of the international university Master “SAHC: Advanced Masters in Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions”, dedicated to the conservation and structural analysis of historical and architectural heritage, together with the renewal of the Consortium Agreement between Universidade do Minho (administrative seat of the Master), the University of Padua and the other European partners for the period 2027-2032;
