We are committed to pursuing three fundamental missions with passion and dedication : teaching, research and social impact. In addition to these, there are other strategic priorities such as internationalization, the enhancement of people and resources, and environmental sustainability.

Our vision is to be a beacon of knowledge and progress, where every individual can express their potential and contribute to building a better future.
Our primary goal is training and education at the highest level. Our teaching is designed to be of quality, innovative and transdisciplinary, aiming at the integral training of the person and the acquisition of the skills necessary to face the changing needs of the increasingly complex and international world of work. We firmly believe in the right to education and promote policies that guarantee equal access to university for all students, with particular attention to individual differences related to situations of socio-economic disadvantage, cultural differences and conditions of disability.
Unipd is recognized nationally and internationally for its excellence in research in many disciplines. Although we have been at the top of the country for years, we aim to progress further to compete with the best European universities, and to do this we are committed to retaining and enhancing our best talents. We are constantly investing in the development of strong infrastructures and spaces for research, so that our researchers can focus on discovery, innovation and the advancement of knowledge.
Social impact. Third Mission and Transformation
Our third mission focuses on the development and implementation of policies, projects and actions that foster the transmission of knowledge, with a significant cultural, economic and educational impact on society. We work closely with local, regional, national and international institutions to promote the well-being and development of the territory. Our commitment includes the promotion of health and the creation of lifelong learning courses that allow the qualification and updating of personal skills.
We spread knowledge through a variety of coordinated initiatives, opening the doors to collaboration with the territory. We actively promote projects aimed at building a knowledge and innovation society, and we support the commercialization of research products through innovative methods, involving startups and spin-offs.
