Call for the submission of third mission projects – year 2023 

The Board of Directors of the University of Padova has allocated € 1,250,000 to encourage and promote projects aimed at encouraging the development of third mission activities of the University departments and centres; To this end, the Callfor the presentation of third mission projects – year 2023 has been issued.

The structures can submit project proposals that must concern third mission initiatives for the benefit of citizens at local, national or international level, which generate a social, economic, environmental, educational or cultural impact with the aim of developing the dimensions of entrepreneurship and innovation in organizations and in the territory, encouraging activities aimed at public bodies, non-profit and voluntary associations, citizens, organizations and institutions, on the issues of well-being, sustainability, inclusion and activities of dissemination and enhancement of research outside the academic field. 

Prizes are awarded to interdisciplinary projects presented by several aggregated structures belonging to different macro-areas in order to enhance the coordination between different areas of the University's knowledge. The collaboration of external partners involved in the project activities is foreseen.
Deadline for submission of project proposals: 31 May 2023.

Call for the submission of third mission projects – year 2022 

The Board of Directors of the University of Padova has allocated € 1,000,000 in order to encourage and promote projects aimed at encouraging the development of third mission activities of the Departments and University Centers and to this end the Call for the presentation of third mission projects – year 2022 has been issued.

The structures will be able to submit project proposals that must refer to the thematic lines entrepreneurship (creating entrepreneurial culture), public engagement, sharing and enhancement of research with the aim of developing the dimensions of entrepreneurship and innovation in organizations and in the territory, encouraging activities aimed at public bodies, non-profit and voluntary associations, citizens, organizations and institutions, on the themes of well-being, sustainability, inclusion and activities for the dissemination and enhancement of research outside the academic sphere, intended for local, national and international organizations, institutions, and citizenship.

The projects may be presented by the University structures (Departments and University Centers) in collaboration with external partners who will be involved in the project activities and must concern third mission initiatives that are able to involve as beneficiaries/recipients of the initiatives, students, PhD students, research fellows, organizations and institutions of the territory, as well as citizens.
