Information on the processing of personal data (Personal Inclusion)
art. 13 EU Regulation 2016/679 - General Data Protection Regulation
This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of the European Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - hereinafter GDPR), and in relation to the personal data of which the University of Padua with campus in Via VIII Febbraio, 2 – 35122 Padua, as Data Controller, comes into possession as a result of the activities relating to the promotion of inclusion at the University of Padua.
According to the aforementioned legislation, the processing of personal data will be based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency and the protection of your privacy and your rights. We provide you with the following information below:

The Data Controller has the Data Protection Officer, appointed pursuant to art. 37 of EU Regulation 2016/679. The data protection officer can be contacted at the following e-mail address: privacy@unipd.it
The processing of your personal data (personal data provided when subscribing to the service and/or during the performance of the roles provided for by the service), including special categories, is aimed exclusively at:
- Communications relating to the promotion of inclusion activities at the University
- Detection of any barriers to inclusion, necessary supports, suggestions for an inclusive working life
- Fulfilment of specific requests of the interested party
- Promotion of networks to support inclusion in the University
- Any reports to the structures of the interested parties in order to plan and implement the agreed personalized interventions
- Any reports to the structures of the Central Administration, with anonymous and/or aggregated data, in order to plan and implement inclusion interventions for the entire University
- Any qualitative and quantitative analyses, on anonymous and aggregated data, aimed at monitoring inclusion in the University
Personal data are communicated to other public bodies when the communication is in any case necessary for the performance of the institutional functions of the University requested by the data subject.
The data, in any case, may be disseminated in relation to:
- fulfilment of legal and contractual obligations
- fulfilment of specific requests of the data subject (including supports, technical interventions, etc.)
- for the aspects referred to in point 3, the data could be disseminated to the structures of the University of Padua as far as their competence is concerned.
The processing of special categories of personal data will be carried out in compliance with the "Regulations for the processing of sensitive and judicial data of the University", which can be consulted at the following link https://www.unipd.it/regolamenti-interesse-generale.
It should be noted that the Data Controller does not use automatic processes aimed at profiling the data subject.
The recipient(s) of the data you provide to us are the Data Controller and any Data Processors appointed by the Data Controller, as well as the natural persons within the data processing for the purposes indicated above.
Personal data may be communicated to all subjects to whom the communication is necessary for the correct fulfilment of the purposes indicated in point 3.
The provision of data for the purposes described in art. 3 is mandatory and any refusal by the User precludes the provision of the service.
The determination of the retention period of your personal data responds to the principle of necessity of the processing. Your personal data will therefore be stored for as long as necessary to carry out the purposes set out in point 3.
It should be noted that with reference to your personal data provided, you have the following rights:
- access to your personal data
- to obtain the rectification or erasure of the same or the limitation of the processing concerning him/her
- to object or not to the processing
- data portability (right applicable only to data in electronic format), as governed by art. 20 of EU Regulation 2016/679
- to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Guarantor for the protection of personal data ).

The Data Controller is required to provide you with a response within one month of the request, which can be extended up to three months in the event of particular complexity of the request.
