Ethical management of the mountains: visions for the future
Strategic Foresight methods and Futures Studies are now fundamental tools for ensuring the sustainability of rural and mountain areas, as they make it possible to transform uncertainty into informed planning through a systemic approach. This methodology not only guides long-term policies and stimulates innovation in the private sector, but also promotes profound cultural change by actively involving citizens in the creation of shared visions for the future.

The course is aimed at practitioners, professionals, teachers, office staff, project managers and other interested parties who, within public bodies, associations, foundations, mixed organisations, and large and small companies, are called upon to develop and co-create long-term strategic visions for the future of mountain areas.
Trains multidisciplinary professionals capable of integrating cross-cutting skills, ensuring that every intervention in the area is forward-looking, inclusive and deeply rooted in the values of sustainability.

- Basic approaches and tools (e.g. impact assessment, process design, etc.)
- Futures tools and methods (e.g. Three Horizons, Backcasting, Scenario Planning, etc.)
