Supplementary pension fund Perseo Sirio

Perseo Sirio is the supplementary pension fund of a ‘collectively negotiated’ nature provided for by the employment contracts of employees of public administrations and the healthcare sector.

The Fund was established in 2014 with the aim of enabling workers to build up, day by day, a supplementary pension to complement the compulsory one so as to face the post-employment period with greater peace of mind. To this end, Perseo Sirio collects contributions, manages resources and pays benefits.
The fund is supervised by the Commissione di vigilanza sui fondi pensione - Covip.
People enrolled are members of the fund.

At the University of Padua, the following technical and administrative staff may join the fund:

with a permanent contract
with a fixed-term contract lasting three consecutive months or more.

Those who join the fund also benefit from tax advantages.

To join, the application form, available on the Fund's website, must be sent to previdenza@unipd.it after being dated and signed, for the subsequent inclusion of supplementary pension contributions in the salary and for the required communications to the relevant bodies.
