Fondazione Aldo Gini

The Fondazione Aldo Gini was established by the University of Padua, in accordance with the wishes and thanks to the generous bequest of Ing. Aldo Gini, to set up scholarships for those who have demonstrated, during their studies or professional activity, particular aptitude in the field of the exact sciences and their applications, and to promote, through direct contact among scholarship holders and through facilities for the stay of international scholars in Italy, more intensive collaboration between those engaged in study and Italian technicians and those of other countries, with suitable preparation and aptitude in the fields of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, Engineering and Agricultural Sciences.

The Fondazione Aldo Gini has a guesthouse suitable for hosting Italian and international scholars and technicians visiting Departments and Institutes of the University of Padua, as well as the Foresteria Ducceschi.

The Fondazione announces scholarships for study abroad intended to support those who wish to undertake a period of study and/or further specialisation abroad.
