Time After Time. Art and feminism in the '80s and '90s

On 15 and 16 October, the University of Padua is hosting an international conference on art and feminism in the 1980s and 1990s, curated by Greta Boldorini (University of Padua), Angela Maderna (Università Roma Tre), with Griselda Pollock (University of Leeds) taking part as keynote speaker and speaking on the topic "Decades versus Generations: A Sociological Understanding of Feminist Time and Artmaking at the End of the 20th Century".
The conference aims to offer an overview of research on the relationships between art and feminisms in the 1980s and 1990s and to represent a valuable opportunity for exchange and discussion among researchers working on these topics.
The conference will take place in person at the Unipd venues of Palazzo Maldura (15/10) and Palazzo del Capitanio (16/10), but it will also be possible to follow it online on the Zoom platform.
