On 28 and 29 September 2026, the 5th workshop of the Italian Branch della Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry - SETAC will take place in Chioggia, at Palazzo Grassi - University of Padua, dedicated to topics related to emerging contaminants, multiple stressors, sustainability, environmental modelling and the health of Mediterranean ecosystems.
The topics at the centre of this edition:
- Exposure to and effects of emerging and historical contaminants, and multiple stressors.
- Regulatory aspects of environmental pollution.
- Sustainability, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and modelling.
- The Mediterranean climate region: from biodiversity to human health.
Participation is free of charge, upon registration.
There will also be the “Best Young Italian Scientist Award” for PhD students.
