ColloquIA Live

How can you talk about who you are and what you can do when you still have little experience? What should you do when an unexpected question comes up? And how can you manage your emotions when all the attention is focused on you?

UniSMART, in collaboration with Career Service and ASIT of the University of Padua, is organising ColloquIA Live on Thursday 29 October at Le Village in Padova, an event designed to introduce ColloquIA, the Unipd virtual agent that makes it possible to simulate a job interview.
ColloquIA is an extremely useful tool for preparing to enter the world of work for students, also in view of the Career Day Università Aperta IES on 5 November 2026.

The event is open to the Unipd student community, with a particular focus on those attending courses (or who have recently completed their studies) in the fields of engineering, economics and science.

Participants can experience ColloquIA first-hand and explore the suggestions in the final report with a career counsellor from the Career Service Office.

The initiative aims to help students face Career Day interviews and, more generally, future recruitment processes in the world of work with greater preparation.

The programme includes an initial plenary session, during which professional actresses and actors, with the support of Career Service, perform interviews inspired by real-life situations, highlighting the most frequent mistakes and the strategies for dealing with them in the best possible way.

Afterwards, students can take part in several practical activities running in parallel:

• workshops on non-verbal communication;
• warm-up and CV check activities with Career Service;
• interview simulations with ColloquIA, through dedicated PC stations, followed by a report check together with Career Service staff.
