On 23 September, AI@DEI returns, a day aimed at businesses to foster the creation of new relationships, projects and collaborations with the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padua.
The 2026 edition takes place at the Engineering Hub and offers a renewed format, starting in the early afternoon, with a concluding networking session at Hotel Mantegna.
In addition to presenting expertise, case studies and projects developed by the Department, the event offers introductory and training content on some key topics in artificial intelligence, with the aim of clarifying the state of the art, highlighting the main application challenges and showcasing the DEI’s most advanced research activities.
The programme is organised into thematic blocks dedicated to AI and natural language, AI and computer vision, AI and robotics, AI, manufacturing and Industrial IoT. Each block offers an overview of the topic, examples of expertise and activities developed within the Department, and accounts of projects carried out in collaboration with partner companies.
The day will conclude with a networking session at Hotel Mantegna, designed to facilitate dialogue between businesses and researchers, and to encourage the development of new collaboration opportunities.
