Erasmus+: Statistical sciences

Students are advised to consult the websites of the partner Universities (paying particular attention to the degree courses) and to obtain information from the person responsible for the flow of the destinations of interest, in order to identify the exams to be taken abroad that will need to be included, in the original language, in the draft study plan to be attached to the application.

All destinations intended for cycle 2 are accessible to the Master’s Degree in Statistical sciences.

The destinations are available on the new interactive platform: www.unipd.it/mobility-agreements. 

It is compulsory to select your Degree Programme from the Study field drop-down menu. The total number of months indicated in the portal (item Number) for each agreement must be divided by the number of places available (item Total number). 
It is necessary to note down all the main information (for example: Erasmus code, flow lecturer in charge, isced/field of study) in order to select the destination correctly in Uniweb.

Students of the Department of Statistical sciences may choose two destinations (but they may be selected for only one).

Please note: students intending to apply to carry out research activities abroad for their thesis must attach a letter from the lecturer in Padua who will act as supervisor of their thesis work.

The Department of Statistical sciences organises the selection process by evaluating the application forms received and the interview with each candidate. During the interview, students must explain the reasons for their choice of destination. It is necessary to attend the interview bringing Carriera dello Studente. The date of the interview will be published on the department website in the sezione dedicata.

The criteria considered for the formulation of the ranking are available in the Regulations below.

When drafting the proposal of the activities to be carried out abroad, it is important to consult the information contained in the department website section Riconoscimento piani di studio Erasmus.

Attention: the rankings will be published exclusively in the sezione Erasmus+ Studio of the University portal and will constitute the sole means of publication.

No personal communications will be sent, either in writing or by telephone.

Those selected must accept the place according to the procedures and deadlines indicated on the page Accettazione posto Erasmus.

For Erasmus mobility, the speed points for bachelor’s degrees apply, as set out in the Bulletin for the academic year 2023/2024  published in the “Perché e come” section of the Department website.

For the conversion of foreign grades into Italian grades (out of 30) according to rules shared at European level, please consult the ECTS scale and statistical grade distributions of Statistical Sciences, taking into account the general table approved by the Academic Senate on 15/12/2021.

Please note: from the 2021/22 academic year, anyone who does not obtain at least 12 ECTS during the period abroad, the Erasmus mobility will be recognised as “Zero Grant”; therefore, they will not be entitled to any monthly scholarship payment or related top-ups and will be required to repay any sums already disbursed.
