PhD Events

On November 10, 2025 , the University of Padova welcomes PhD students of the 41st cycle with an event that takes place at the Aula Magna of Palazzo del Bo, from 4.30 pm to 7 pm.
The main features of the Doctorate and the services offered by the University are illustrated.

Webform PhD Welcome Day 2025 (until 6 November, 1 pm)

The Coimbra Group Universities, which brings together the oldest European universities not located in a capital, organizes the Three Minute Thesis, a competition during which doctoral students must present their project in English, in three minutes, through the support of a single slide (without animation), demonstrating the ability to synthesize and communicate effectively.

The University of Padova has actively participated in all eight editions, distinguishing itself right from the start: the PhD student representing our University has in fact won the final of the first edition in Edinburgh.

The University final, which decrees the Unipd candidate for this year, will be held on 18 March 2026 in the Botanical Garden of Padova > Program - enrolment and other information

Lecture on Public Speaking
A lecture on public speaking, open to all people enrolled in a PhD.

Contest for the creation of visual/illustration of the PhD, open to PhD students of the University. The winning project will be used to represent the entire community of PhD students of the University of Padova.
