SOCIAL SCIENCES AND DIGITAL DATA

This interdisciplinary Master's Degree Course, delivered in English and in blended mode, offers a training course that integrates Social Sciences and Data Science, providing basic skills in the collection, organization, processing and analysis of digital data. The syllabus integrates sociological, statistical, informatic, psychological, philosophical, economic and pedagogical disciplines with laboratories and prepares students to understand not only the technical aspects but also the social, political and ethical implications related to the use of digital data in global and multicultural contexts. Graduates will be able to enter work contexts that refer to various fields: from education to research, from innovation, to business, from health to communication, with roles that involve the use of advanced analysis techniques (digital methods, machine learning, generative artificial intelligence) and collaboration with other figures specialized in data science.
