The Second-cycle/Master's degree course in Mathematics aims to provide a modern vision of mathematical knowledge and techniques in the theoretical and applied fields. The courses are carried out mainly in English to promote both the conveyance and the development of skills in the international arena. In addition to the general course track, delivered in Padova, there are two international curricula that allow students to obtain a double degree, carrying out the second year in the foreign consortium universities: ALGANT focused on Algebra, Geometry and Number Theory in collaboration with various universities including Paris-Sud (Orsay), Bordeaux, Leiden, Duisburg-Essen, Concordia-Montreal; and MAPPA focused on Analysis and Probability in collaboration with Paris Sciences & Lettres University. In the general course track there are various possible paths (applied, didactic, theoretical), and it is recommended to have some international experience in the context of the European Erasmus programs.
