The Master’s degree trains high-level professionals specialised in analysing, designing and managing highly complex economic, production and service systems. It provides graduates with the capabilities of understanding and managing the interconnections of technical/production, human/organisational and economic/financial nature that underpin business processes.
Graduates will also acquire a set of advanced skills and competences that will make them capable of successfully implementing change and innovation projects and fully exploiting the opportunities offered by the emerging digital technologies.
Programme structure
1st Year: Smart operations and supply chain management; Digital manufacturing; Material flow systems and logistic networks; Digital customization; Organizational change and performance measurement; Strategy and digital transformation; Precision and quality for manufacturing innovation
2nd Year: Sustainability and digitalization of metallurgical processes; Energy management and digitalization; Machine learning, clustering and data mining; Digital twins for automation and collaborative robots; Technology and innovation management; New product development management; Digital marketing
Career opportunities
Graduates can find employment in all types of industry, services, consultant’s firms and public organisations. The main fields are: design, organisation and management of production processes and logistics, new products and services development, management of innovative projects, energy management, marketing and communication and sales, organisation of commercial activities, management accounting and control, business performance measurement, company information systems, and strategic analysis.
