Genomics and Bioinformatics

Thesis proposals

All the proposed thesis projects are centered on molecular biology problems, studied at the genomic level. The research and laboratory activities combine genetic engineering and bioinformatics that may be more or less balanced depending on the project.

This list summarizes the proposed topics:

1. Development and application of new methods for DNA sequencing with NGS technologies
2. Identification of functional elements in genomic sequences
